Flannel begins as cotton fabric that is brushed—also known as napped—on one or both sides to lift tiny fibers to the surface. This brushing process creates the familiar soft, fuzzy texture that feels warm and comforting against the skin. The result is a fabric that’s wonderfully cozy, making it a favorite for baby blankets, snuggly quilts, and cold-weather sewing projects.

For best results, machine wash cold on a normal cycle with mild detergent, tumble dry medium and remove promptly; Use only non-chlorine bleach. Pre-washing is recommended. *Fabrics are not recommended for children's sleepwear.
