American & Efird Sunstop Thread is ultra-violet light resistant made from multifilament polyester thread. It is designed to resist strength degradation and color fading caused by ultra-violet light. This makes it a good choice for outdoor applications in the marine and automotive industry. It is also suitable for awnings, shade sails, patio furniture, tents, umbrellas or any sewing project that will be exposed to sunlight. Features a consistent diameter and good ply security which reduces the amount of time spent adjusting thread during sewing. The recommended needle size is 125-140/20-23. This thread is not recommended for use on home sewing machines. Made in America. Available in a variety of colors and sizes.
