High-Precision Elastic Metering
The MCA20K series is designed to work in conjunction with Racing computerized metering devices. It ensures that elastic tape is fed consistently under the foot, preventing the "snaking" or uneven stretching common with standard presser feet. This foot is essential for high-quality production of activewear, intimate apparel, and swimwear.
Key Features of the MCA20K 163 Foot
Adjustable Tape Guide: Features a built-in adjustable slot that accommodates various tape widths (3.5mm to 13mm), ensuring the elastic stays perfectly centered over the seam.
Universal Overlock Fitting: Designed to fit a wide range of industrial overlockers, including the Juki MO-6700 and MO-6800 Series, as well as similar Pegasus and Siruba models.
Integrated Air Nozzle Port: Includes a specialized port for air-assisted feeding (when used with an MCA-20K computerized system), which helps "blow" the tape into position for automated cutting and re-insertion.
Smooth Tension Transition: The polished sole and guide geometry minimize friction, allowing the metering device to maintain exact programmed tension without mechanical drag.
