It is essential for high-speed production of waistbands, athletic apparel, and medical compression garments where consistent tension across a wider surface area is critical to prevent fabric puckering or uneven stretching.
Key Features of the MCA20K 164 Foot
Wide-Format Tape Guide: Features an integrated, adjustable guide plate that accommodates tape widths from 8mm up to 26mm, ensuring the elastic stays perfectly centered and flat during the trimming and sewing cycle.
Air-Assist Integration: Includes a specialized port for air-assisted feeding (when paired with a Racing MCA system), which helps position the tape accurately for automated cutting and re-insertion at the start of each seam.
Universal Overlock Compatibility: Designed to fit major industrial overlock series, including the Juki MO-6700, MO-6800, and MO-6900, as well as Pegasus and Siruba models.
Stabilized Sole Plate: The wide-profile sole is precision-ground to provide uniform downward pressure across the entire width of the elastic, preventing "edge curling" or lateral shifting at speeds up to 7,000+ RPM.
