Achieve precise, repeatable thread control with the Seiko Tension Thumb Nut (Part #20225). This authentic adjustment component is the primary interface for fine-tuning the upper thread tension on the Seiko LSW long-arm industrial series.
The tension thumb nut is responsible for applying calibrated pressure to the tension spring and discs. In heavy-duty sewing—such as automotive upholstery, sails, or heavy webbing—even a half-turn can be the difference between a perfect lockstitch and a loose seam. This Seiko part features a knurled grip and precision-cut internal threads designed to hold its position under the high-vibration environment of 2,500+ SPM (stitches per minute) operation.
