It behaves like genuine fabric in terms of cutting, sewing, and gathering. Tru-Grid maintains its alignment with the grain, is both durable and lightweight, can be basted, and is suitable for fitting.

Position Tru-Grid over your design for effortless tracing. Tru-Grid patterns are more lightweight and easier to store compared to most commercially available patterns. They are robust enough to allow for note-taking along the edges of the patterns. When laid out, it adheres to the fabric, minimizing the need for pins. As it is made of fabric, you can pin a mock-up of the garment for testing purposes, which would be cumbersome with a paper pattern. Tru-Grid™ is broader than the majority of tracing papers, making it simpler to manage and resistant to tearing. It outlasts any tissue pattern, making it an ideal choice for cherished patterns that are deteriorating or those you anticipate using frequently, as it offers a more resilient solution.
