Need Help Finding the Right Part?
Pfaff® Stitch-In-Ditch Stabilizer – 12" x 70 yds is an ultra-lightweight tear-away stabilizer made from dense paper fibers, perfect for heirloom sewing, decorative stitching, and low stitch count embroidery. Its crisp paper texture allows it to tear away cleanly, leaving minimal residue around stitch edges—ideal for delicate designs that require a refined, professional finish. Designed for lightweight, stable woven fabrics, this stabilizer offers reliable temporary support without adding bulk.
Pfaff® Stitch-In-Ditch is especially useful for removing stabilizer from small, open design areas and is recommended for light stitch applications where precision and ease of removal matter. It supports easy hooping of 1 to 3 layers, depending on the density and complexity of your design. (Not recommended for medium to heavy stitch count embroidery or use with heavy fabrics.)

How to Use:
- Position the Stabilizer: Place Pfaff® Stitch-In-Ditch on the wrong side of the fabric to provide support during stitching.
- Hoop Together: Hoop both the fabric and stabilizer together, ensuring they are flat and taut but not stretched.
- Tighten the Hoop: Adjust hoop tension to hold the layers securely in place.
- Stitch the Design: Proceed with your heirloom stitching, decorative embellishment, or light embroidery project.
- Remove Excess Stabilizer: Gently remove the stabilizer after stitching. Its paper-like quality ensures clean edges and minimal leftover residue.
