One side features a traditional size 100/16 needle, while the other has winged edges that gently pierce and spread fabric fibers—producing beautifully open, lacy effects perfect for decorative work. With a spacing of approximately 2.5mm between the needles, this unique design is ideal for heirloom sewing, pintucks, and embellishing fine garments or linens. It performs best on lightweight fabrics such as batiste, lawn, and delicate linen, where the winged needle can achieve airy, detailed holes that enhance your stitching designs. To ensure consistent stitch quality and preserve fabric integrity, be sure to replace your needle every 6–8 hours of sewing or when switching to a new fabric type.
