The Piping Foot is perfect for inserting packaged piping into seams or along edges to give your projects a clean, professional look. It also makes it quick and easy to cover cording with fabric and stitch custom piping into place. Whether you're sewing garments, home décor, or accessories, this foot helps you achieve beautifully polished, tailored results with ease.

How to Use:
  1. Set Up Your Machine Select your desired overlock stitch.
  2. Attach the Foot Snap on the Piping Foot.

To Insert Packaged Piping into a Seam:
  1. Position the Piping Place the piping along the seam line on the right side of the fabric.
  2. Layer Your Fabrics Place a second fabric piece on top, right sides together, sandwiching the piping between the layers./li>
  3. Place Under the Foot Align the fabric and piping layers under the Piping Foot, with the piping resting in the groove on the underside of the foot.
  4. Sew the Seam Stitch the layers together. The foot’s groove will guide the piping for a clean, even finish.

To Make and Insert Your Own Piping:
  1. Cut Fabric Strips Use bias or crosswise grain strips wide enough to wrap around the cord with added seam allowances.
  2. Wrap the Cord Lay the cord on the wrong side of the fabric strip and fold the fabric over it.
  3. Position Under the Foot Place the wrapped cord under the Piping Foot, with the cord aligned in the groove underneath.
  4. Sew Stitch along the edge. The groove will help guide the cord and keep your stitching neat and close to the piping.
The Piping Foot is your go-to tool for adding crisp, professional-looking piping—whether store-bought or custom—to garments, cushions, bags, and more!
