The 9076M Magnetic Bobbin Case is a high-performance upgrade for the Pfaff 463, 481, 483, 487, and 563 industrial lockstitch series. This specialized case features a built-in permanent magnet at its base, designed to solve the common industrial problem of "bobbin overrun" (also known as backlash) during high-speed sewing and automatic thread trimming.
By providing a constant, light magnetic pull on the metal bobbin, this case ensures that the bobbin stops rotating the instant the machine stops, preventing tangled threads and bird-nesting.
Key Features & Performance
Anti-Backlash Magnetism: The integrated magnet acts as a secondary brake. When the machine's under-bed trimmer (UT) activates or the operator stops suddenly at high speed, the magnet prevents the bobbin from spinning freely and dumping excess thread into the hook area.
Precision Tension Control: Features a high-quality, tempered steel tension spring that allows for microscopic adjustments, ensuring the bobbin thread tension remains perfectly balanced with the needle thread.
