Make your own fabric covered buttons to match your projects precisely. Cover button kits are made of aluminum and are washable and dry cleanable. These Half Ball Cover Button sets do not come with assembly tools. Easy-to-use kits available in a variety of sizes and pack sizes.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Purchase a cover button kit for the size button you want to make. This includes a button top and a shank back. Be sure you also have an assembly tool.
2. Cut the fabric. Your fabric should be cut in a circle twice the diameter of the button.
3. Insert the fabric right-side down into the assembly kit and center the button front on top, pushing it down.
4. Fold the excess fabric toward the center. Be sure it is all tucked in. Place the back piece of the button (the shank) on top.
5. Use the pusher tool to snap the back shank into place.
