Singer Clear N' Melt Stabilizer - 12" x 10yds

Experience hassle-free embroidery finishing with the Singer Clear N' Melt Stabilizer. Measuring 12" wide by 10 yards long, this film instantly disappears with the touch of a low to medium heat iron—no water needed. Unlike traditional stabilizers, Clear N' Melt won't stick to your iron, ironing board cover, or fabric, making removal quick, clean, and frustration-free. Versatile enough to be used as either a topping or backing, this stabilizer is especially useful for keeping stitches neat on textured or uneven fabrics. Use it as a topping to prevent stitches from sinking into nap, pile, or coarse weaves, or as a backing for designs with fill areas, appliqué, or monograms. While not recommended for lace or small open designs, Clear N' Melt is the perfect choice for embroidery that needs a smooth, polished finish without the mess of rinsing.

Important: Never use a hot iron.

How to Use as a Topper:

1. Place a sheet of Clear N’ Melt on top of the fabric as you hoop, or hoop the fabric first and then add the topper.
2. If your embroidery machine offers a basting stitch, use it to secure the topper in place.
3. Stitch your design as usual. When finished, tear away as much of the excess stabilizer as possible.
4. With a dry hand, press a low to medium heat iron directly over the stabilizer area. Move the iron back and forth until the film dissipates into fine particles that can be brushed away.

How to Use as a Topper:

1. Position the stabilizer on the wrong side of your fabric and hoop both layers together.
2. Stitch your embroidery. When finished, tear away as much of the excess stabilizer as possible.
