The Styling Design Ruler is for pattern alteration, garment alterations or any time a curved or straight edge is needed. It is 4 rulers in 1 - French curve, hip curve, straight ruler and cut-out slots. The curve between numbers 1 and 17 is often used to alter hip lines, princess lines, one piece sleeves and hem lines. The curve between numbers 13 and 26 is often used to alter or mark armholes and sleeve caps and adjust necklines. The straight edge ruler with measurements marked off in 1/8" increments is used to alter side seams and shoulder seams.
