Available in packs of five or 100, depending on the size, you can choose the quantity that best fits your embroidery needs. These needles come in the following sizes:
Size 80/12 – Ideal for lightweight to medium-weight fabrics, including cotton, linen, and silk.
Size 90/14 – Best for heavier fabrics like denim, canvas, and tightly woven materials requiring embroidery.
Most Viking needles feature two color-coded bands just below the shank for easy identification. The top band represents the needle type (embroidery = red), while the lower band indicates the needle size (80/12 = orange, 90/14 = blue).
