The HUSQVARNA® VIKING® Twin Wing Needle is a specialty needle designed for creating decorative heirloom stitches and eyelet embroidery on lightweight woven fabrics. It features a 100/16 needle on one side, while the outer needle has winged edges, which pierce and slightly spread the fabric fibers to create beautifully open, lacy designs. Each needle is spaced approximately 2.5mm apart. It's perfect for heirloom sewing, pintucks, and embellishing linens or fine garments. This unique needle works best with lightweight fabrics like batiste, lawn, and linen, where the winged edges can form detailed, airy holes for decorative stitching. For optimal performance, replace your needle every 6 to 8 hours of sewing or whenever you switch fabric types.
