An SUK Schmetz needle is considered medium ball point needle, and is more rounded than an SES needle. It is recommended for medium-to-dense woven materials like denim. Schmetz medium ball point straight stitch needles feature a more rounded tip and prevent cutting of fabric, snagging and large pin holes. The medium ball point feature a more rounded tip than the light ball point and are excellent for medium to heavy denim and coarse knits. Available in a variety of sizes. 10 per package.
